Work trousers for every job
Work trousers are the first garment to wear out: they bend, rub and are washed often. That is why it pays to choose them by job, not just by price. In this category you will find multi-pocket Combat and Action models, stretch cargo trousers, slim chinos for customer-facing staff, women's technical leggings and garments certified for specific uses.
How to choose style and fit
Workshop and warehouse staff do well with tough polycotton trousers and side thigh pockets. Those climbing ladders and getting in and out of vans appreciate stretch fabrics and ripstop, which is more tear-resistant. For winter there are lined trousers and brushed cargo trousers, and for floor layers models with lumbar support. Many models come in a women's version with a dedicated fit.
Useful standards: knee pads, ESD, chainsaw
- EN 14404 Type 2: knee pad pockets certified together with the trousers; protection applies with the knee pad specified on the product page.
- EN 1149-5 and EN 61340-5-1: anti-static ESD trousers for electronics and EPAs.
- EN 381: chainsaw-protective trousers Class 1, i.e. for chain speeds up to 20 m/s, Type A, with protection on the front of the legs.
- EN 343 and EN 342 for rain and cold, EN 17353 and EN ISO 20471 Class 1 for visibility.
Quantities and washing
For daily use, plan several pairs per worker so there is always a clean change. If staff often work kneeling see our holster pocket trousers, and for summer our work shorts.

What are Combat work trousers?
They are multi-pocket trousers with large side thigh pockets, useful for phone, documents and small tools. They come in classic, lightweight, stretch and women's versions.
Are knee pads included with EN 14404 Type 2 trousers?
Check each model's product page: certification only applies with the specific knee pad indicated, which may be included or sold separately.
What does Class 1 Type A mean on chainsaw trousers?
Class 1 means protection tested with chain speeds up to 20 m/s; Type A means protection covers the front of the legs, the most common configuration for ground work.
