A bump cap looks like a baseball cap but contains a protective shell that cushions knocks against fixed obstacles. In this category you will find 7 models certified to EN 812.

When to use it and when not to

It is suited to workshops, engine bays, plants with low pipework, logistics and maintenance, where the risk is hitting your head. It does not protect against falling objects: in those cases you need a safety helmet. The choice should be based on the workstation risk assessment.

Peak and ventilation

A long peak gives better shade from sun and direct light; a short peak and micro peak do not obstruct upward vision, useful for anyone working under vehicles or racking.
