Hi-vis rain trousers to wear over your uniform

Legs are the part most exposed to spray from vehicles and water running off the jacket. Hi-vis rain trousers keep you dry and visible even on the worst days.

Overtrousers or stand-alone trousers

Lightweight packable overtrousers can be kept in the van and pulled on over work trousers only when needed. Models with long side zips go on without taking off your boots. More structured trousers, PU-coated or 3-layer breathable, can also be worn on their own for full shifts in the rain. For those who also want to cover the torso, there is a bib and brace that converts into trousers.

EN 343 and visibility class

All models declare rain protection to EN 343, in Class 3 or 4 for waterproofing; the product page also shows the breathability class. For visibility they are Class 1 or 2 to EN ISO 20471: to achieve higher overall visibility, pair them with hi-vis rain jackets, checking the class of the combination on the product page. One model also has pockets for Type 2 knee pads to EN 14404.

Size and care

If the trousers go over your uniform, allow for the thickness of the garments underneath when choosing the size. After use, let them air-dry before storing them. For full-body protection, also consider waterproof coveralls and bib and brace.
