Disposable FFP2 and FFP3 masks
Filtering facepieces certified to EN 149 protect against dust, fumes and mists. They are lightweight, maintenance-free and the most widely used solution for dusty work in construction, joinery, industry and agriculture.
FFP1, FFP2 and FFP3 classes
- FFP1: for low-hazard dust.
- FFP2: for harmful dust and fumes, for example in many construction and sanding tasks.
- FFP3: the most protective class, for high-hazard dust and fumes.
The NR marking means single-shift use, R means reusable, as with the reusable FFP3 masks in this category. The letter D, found on Dolomite models, means the mask has passed the dolomite dust clogging test: it stays comfortable to breathe through for longer in very dusty environments.
Valved or unvalved?
An exhalation valve reduces heat and moisture inside the mask, useful on long or strenuous shifts. Activated carbon versions help reduce nuisance odours but do not replace a gas filter. For frequent exposure to gases and vapours you need half masks with filters. Go back to the respiratory protection category for all products.

How long does a disposable FFP2 mask last?
Masks marked NR are for a single work shift and should be replaced sooner if damaged, dirty or if breathing becomes difficult.
Is an FFP3 mask better with or without a valve?
The valve reduces heat and moisture and makes physical work more comfortable; the level of protection for the wearer is defined by the FFP3 class in both cases.
What does Dolomite mean on an FFP2 mask?
It means the mask has passed the EN 149 dolomite dust clogging test, marked with the letter D: it stays comfortable to breathe through for longer in dusty environments.
What pack sizes are FFP2 and FFP3 masks sold in?
They are sold in packs of 3 to 20, as stated in the product name; for regular supplies you can request a quote from the website.
