Work gilets and bodywarmers for heat and cold

A work bodywarmer warms the torso while leaving the arms free: that is why it is popular with warehouse staff, forklift drivers, maintenance staff and tradespeople who move their shoulders and arms all day. Wear it over a sweatshirt or under a jacket as an extra layer.

Padded, quilted or softshell

Padded and quilted gilets, including down-effect and reversible styles, are the warmest. 2 or 3-layer softshell gilets mainly protect from wind and stay lightweight. A fleece gilet is the simplest choice for spring and autumn. For the coldest days there are heated gilets, with heating elements described on the product page, and women's models.

Cooling vests and visibility

For summer you will find evaporative, reactivatable cooling vests that you wet to cool down through evaporation. One cooling vest is certified to EN ISO 20471 Class 2, hi-vis for work near traffic; others meet EN 17353, enhanced visibility for medium-risk situations.
