Softshell work jackets

The softshell jacket is the most versatile spring and autumn garment: lightweight, flexible and more wind-resistant than a fleece. Wear it alone on cool, dry days or over a sweatshirt when the temperature drops.

2-layer or 3-layer

A 2-layer softshell bonds outer and inner fabric: it is lighter and suited to mild temperatures. A 3-layer softshell adds a membrane between outer and lining, which generally improves protection from wind and moisture while keeping breathability. Each product page shows the number of layers and fabric features. There are also winter, padded, heated and hooded softshells, plus women's models.

Softshells and rain

A softshell does not replace a certified rain jacket: it handles drizzle and damp, not hours of driving rain. If staff often work in the wet they need our certified rain jackets. One model in this category is certified to EN 342 for severe cold, below -5 °C.

Combinations

For those who prefer free arms there are also softshell gilets. Under the jacket, on colder days, you can add a work fleece.
