Hi-vis t-shirts for working in the heat

In the summer months vests and jackets become heavy: a hi-vis t-shirt lets you stay visible while wearing a single light garment, ideal for surfacing, road marking, grounds maintenance and outdoor logistics.

Mesh panels and breathability

T-shirts with mesh panels under the arms or on the back let air circulate and dry faster. Cotton Comfort versions feel softer on the skin, while polyester models are lighter and quicker to dry. A V-neck is cooler in the hottest hours.

Visibility class

Almost all t-shirts are Class 2 to EN ISO 20471; long-sleeved versions reach Class 3, with the added benefit of covering the arms from the sun. Some models are Class 1. To increase overall visibility, pair them with hi-vis shorts or trousers, checking the class of the combination on the product page.

Managing the daily change

T-shirts are washed often: it is worth providing several per worker and respecting the maximum number of washes on the label, beyond which the fluorescent colour may lose effectiveness. For customer-facing roles, also consider hi-vis polo shirts.
