Fall arrest, restraint and work positioning lanyards
The lanyard connects the harness to the anchor. In this category you will find 15 lanyards compliant with EN 354, many with an EN 355 shock absorber and EN 362 connectors already fitted.
Arrest, restraint or positioning
Lanyards with energy absorber arrest a fall while limiting the force on the body. Restraint lanyards, 1.5 or 2 m long, prevent the operator from reaching the point where a fall could occur and must not be used to arrest one. The work positioning lanyard with adjuster, also compliant with EN 358, supports the operator while working hands-free, for example on a pole, and must be combined with a fall arrest system.
Single or twin, rope or webbing
A twin lanyard lets you clip on the second leg before unclipping the first, so you stay connected at all times when moving across scaffolding and structures. Webbing is light and flat, kernmantle rope resists abrasion well, and the elasticated version shortens when not under tension, reducing the trip hazard. The 140 kg versions are for heavier users.
Fall protection PPE is Category III: Italian Legislative Decree 81/08 requires specific training and practical instruction for operators using it. Check the fall clearance in the user information and pair the lanyard with fall arrest harnesses and compatible connectors.
Domande frequenti
Single or twin lanyard: which do I need?
A single lanyard is enough when you stay connected to the same anchor; a twin lanyard is needed to move between several points without ever being unclipped.
Can a restraint lanyard arrest a fall?
No, it prevents you from reaching the edge you could fall from. Arresting a fall requires an EN 355 shock-absorbing lanyard or a self-retracting device.
What does a 140 kg lanyard mean?
It means the device is suitable for users up to 140 kg, within the maximum load stated on the product page and in the user information.
Can I order lanyards for the whole team in a single delivery?
Yes, orders are dispatched complete with no partial deliveries; the product page shows availability and any next arrival date.
