Hi-vis work jackets for everyday use
Not every shift calls for a padded or waterproof jacket: often what you need is a light, durable and visible outer garment to wear over a polo shirt or sweatshirt for much of the year.
Lightweight, stretch or bomber
- Jackets with mesh panels: better ventilated, suited to mild seasons and physical work.
- Stretch: they follow your movements, comfortable for anyone who bends a lot and frequently climbs ladders and vehicles.
- Polycotton bombers: short cut and tough fabric, ideal for drivers and yard staff.
- Modular shirt with vest: a versatile solution for supervisory roles.
Which class to choose
Most models are Class 3 to EN ISO 20471: long sleeves add fluorescent area and tape on the arms, visible when giving signals. There are also jackets in Class 2 and 1. A few models, such as parkas, also offer EN 342 protection against cold or EN 343 protection against rain: if you often work in bad weather, take a look at our hi-vis winter jackets.
Complete the uniform
For a coordinated uniform, pair the jacket with hi-vis work trousers in the same colour. Worn together, certified garments can provide higher overall visibility. Two-tone versions hide dirt better on the shoulders and hem.
Domande frequenti
Why are long-sleeved hi-vis jackets often Class 3?
The sleeves increase the fluorescent area and add retroreflective tape on the arms. This makes it easier to reach the minimum values for Class 3.
When is a hi-vis jacket with mesh panels a good choice?
In mild seasons and for physical work, because the mesh lets air circulate. It is not designed to protect against rain or cold.
Does a hi-vis work jacket protect against rain?
Only if it is certified to EN 343. The others are at most water-repellent: for working in the rain, choose a rain jacket.
Can I buy hi-vis jackets as a private individual?
No, the website sells only to VAT-registered businesses and prices are shown excl. VAT.
