Food industry and laboratory coats

A food industry coat is worn over clothing on entering the production area and separates what comes in from outside from what enters production. That is why dedicated models have specific details: no external pockets or an inside pocket only, simple fastenings and fabrics that withstand frequent washing.

Models for production areas and offices

Pocketless coats, including contrast-collar styles, and coats with an inside pocket are designed for processing areas. Standard cotton, polycotton or pre-washed coats are used in warehouses, laboratories and shops; pre-washed fabric reduces shrinkage in the first washes. The Howie coat, with side fastening and knitted cuffs, is made of water-repellent fabric: the cuffs stop sleeves from getting into the product or snagging.

Visitors and contractors

The disposable polypropylene visitor coat, in packs of 200, is the solution for suppliers, auditors and external maintenance staff entering the area for a short time. It is put on at the entrance and discarded on exit.
